GAINESVILLE — The Lakeview Academy boys soccer team won a crucial region contest over Providence Christian, 3-1, on Friday in Gainesville.
Andrew Miller Bell scored for the Lions (4-5-2, 2-1 Region 8-A) 13 minutes into the game on a corner kick from Mani Reddy. Providence answered with a goal seven minutes later.
But Hayes Kennedy put Lakeview back in front on an assist from Raunaq Sharif in the 71st minute. Bell finished off the scoring on a cross from Daniel Bulos.
TJ Wolcott recorded six saves in goal for Lakeview.
