Clayton man arrested, charged with trafficking ecstasy

Drug agents have arrested a Clayton man and charged him with trafficking in ecstasy and other drug offenses.
 
Agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO), the Clayton Police Department and the Rabun County Sheriff's Office spent two months investigating the actions of Tracy Louis Williams, 54, of Clayton.
 
Williams was arrested Monday, April 24, after agents sad they found illegal drugs valued at $6,380 at his residence in Clayton.
 
Williams faces the following charges, according to ARDEO:
  • Trafficking in ecstasy (MDMA) 
  • Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
  • Possession with intent to distribute a counterfeit controlled substance
