Lake Lanier will host the Georgia BASS Nation State Classic October 25–28 at the Laurel Park. The announcement was made recently by Georgia BASS Nation and the Gainesville Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Georgia BASS Nation is made up of high school, collegiate and adult members throughout the state. The tournament involves six contestants on a team from each club in the state competing for spots towards the BASS Nation Eastern Regional as a lead up tournament to qualify for the Bassmaster Classic.
Entire clubs will hold their club tournaments in September and early October on Lake Lanier as practice towards the State Classic.
