The Forsyth County Solicitor’s Office and the Atlanta-based Alston & Bird law firm have formed a partnership and will be launching a Trial Attorney Program.
After completion of a training program, a group of Alston & Bird’s litigation partners will work in Solicitor General William A. Finch’s offices for four to six weeks on a pro bono publico basis, where they will be sworn in as Special Assistant Solicitors General and engage in the prosecution of misdemeanor cases.
According to a Forsyth County press release, Alston & Bird’s litigators will gain invaluable courtroom experience while also providing free legal services to the busy Forsyth County Solicitor’s office
