Victim uninjured after Gainesville armed robbery

Hall County authorities are searching for at least two suspects in an armed robbery that took place in Gainesville's south side late Saturday night.
 
A male victim was walking along Sailors Avenue near Atlanta Highway around 10 p.m. when, according to Sheriff's Deputy Stephen Wilbanks, "a dark-colored SUV with at least two occupants pulled up beside him."
 
Wilbanks said one or more of the individuals inside the vehicle then brandished a firearm.
 
"They took his wallet, cell phone and some paperwork," Wilbanks continued.
 
The victim, who did not suffer any injuries in the robbery, was unable to get the vehicle's tag number; Wilbanks added that said no suspect description was available.
