ATLANTA — The Mill Creek football team kept rolling on Friday, holding Stephens to just 137 total yards in a 31-13 win in Atlanta.
The Hawks (2-0) put up 367 yards of their own, including 209 rushing as they egded in front 14-6 at halftime before pulling away in the third quarter.
Parker Wroble and Austin Williams each scored on short touchdown runs in the third, as Mill Creek took a 28-6 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Uriah Leverette led the Hawks with 90 yards rushing on 15 carries and a score, while Rafael Morales added 54 yards on 12 carries. Brady Longnecker added a 10-yard touchdown run and completed 13 of 18 passes for 156 yards. Four of those completions went to Wroble for 66 yards.
Mill Creek will travel to Dacula next week.
