An argument between family members turned deadly Monday morning in Forsyth County.
A man was shot and killed at a residence on Berry Patch Drive in the northwestern part of the county, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's Cpl. Doug Rainwater.
He said officers responded to the location at 12:25 a.m. after a caller to 911 reported the shooting.
"We are investigating a domestic related shooting between family members," Rainwater wrote in a press statement. "One adult male is deceased and the investigation continues by FCSO Major Crimes Unit and the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office."
Rainwater said no charges have been filed at this point.
The names of those involved have not been released.
