In the wake of the recent massacre of 17 students at a Florida school, the Hall County Board of Education is poised to receive an update on school safety Monday night.
This also follows a number of incidents and rumors regarding threats to school safety in northeast Georgia, including Hall County, since the Florida shooting.
The update is one of the items on the agenda for Monday's board meeting which will be held at 5:00 at the school system's Central Office on Green Street.
