CORNELIA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Cornelia Police Department have allowed residents on Habersham Terrace to return home.
Saturday night, Cornelia Police Department reported they were investigating a report of a possible methamphetamine lab at a home on the street.
“The GBI has cleared the scene and all residents are allowed to return home,” according to a Cornelia Police social media post just after 11 p.m. Saturday. “Although meth was not found, the suspect had made a very dangerous mixture that was extremely flammable.”
The case remains under investigation.
No additional details have been released.
