Traffic pacing is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday on Georgia Highway 9 in Dawson County for the placement of concrete beams for a new bridge.
The work is expected to continue until 2:00 p.m.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, law enforcement will lead traffic during the work which is subject to weather conditions.
Drivers should expect delays between Bannister Road and Dawson Forest Road.
