*The University of North Georgia has added two more national rankings to its list of accolades thanks to its Division of Professional and Continuing Education. Leadership Excellence & Development ranked UNG's certificate program with emphasis on human resources as second in the nation. UNG placed fifth for PCE's certificate program with emphasis on leadership and organizational development. UNG was the only school from Georgia ranked in the top 10 in both categories. This is the third straight year PCE received a top 10 ranking for this program.

*Two Piedmont College students are among 19 college students chosen to participate in this year's Beasley Media Group Radio Talent Institute, sponsored by the  Georgia Association of Broadcasters.  They are Zachery Grizzle and Leslie Pritchett.  According to the GAB, the institute is a "campus-to-career connection" used by students to begin their broadcast career, as well as a way for broadcasters to discover and hire entry-level talent.
