The Georgia State Patrol Friday said a Winder woman will be charged with Failure to Maintain Lane and Vehicular Homicide Second Degree in connection with a fatal traffic accident in Hall County Thursday.
Robert Thomas Brooks, Jr., 43, Comer, was killed in the crash which occurred on Athens Highway near Gaines Mill Road just before noon.
State troopers said earlier Jana Lynn York 's car left the road, that she overcorrected, and the car hit a sign, traveled down an embankment and then overturned.
A state patrol spokesman said Friday afternoon "warrants on the charges will be obtained in the following weeks."
