A dedication ceremony and tree planting were held at Sexton Hall in Cumming recently to kick off a new community garden.
The garden is a collaborative project with various partners – the Forsyth County Extension Service and its Master Gardeners and Naturalists, the Boy Scouts of America, the Thanks Mom & Dad Foundation and several local businesses.
The garden, named the Live Well Garden, is an extension of the Senior Services theme of aging well by living a healthy and active lifestyle.
