The American Powerlifting Committee's (APC) national championships will be contested Saturday and Sunday at Titanz Fitness in Commerce.
Champions will be crowned in various age and weight classes for men and women in full-power (squat, bench-press and deadlift) as well as push/pull (bench, deadlift) and single lifts in bench and deadlift.
Lifting is scheduled to being at 10 a.m. each day. Weigh-in schedules and more information may be found at www.americanpowerliftingcommittee-usa.com.
Meanwhile, the Georgia Games powerlifting competition will again be held in Gainesville at the Iron Beast Gym on Grove Street.
