A 19-year-old Forsyth County man who had been the subject of a widespread search Tuesday returned home early Wednesday morning, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
A post on the FCSO Facebook page said Byron Grogan was reported safe at 2:09 a.m.
Grogan was last heard from Monday at 9 p.m. when he went for a run in the area of Chattahoochee Pointe Park.
More than 150 volunteers showed up during the day Tuesday to assist local law enforcement in the search for Grogan, according to the sheriff's office.
Investigators said they are looking into the circumstances surrounding Grogan's disappearance.
