A 26-year-old man suffered serious burns as he was clearing some brush on property in White County Wednesday afternoon.
White County Fire Services and EMS arrived at the scene on Highway 75 South around 1 p.m., according to an email statement from Ana Newberry with White County Fire Services.
The man who was burned had been clearing the property and was about to burn the brush that was cleared for his construction project, Newberry said. She said as the man lit the brush, a flashover occurred.
