Three people received minor injuries in a rush hour wreck Thursday afternoon on Thompson Bridge Road at Mt. Vernon Road.
The state patrol says the accident happened about 5:30 and involved a pickup and two SUVs
Troopers say all three were northbound when one of them, driven by Tyler Rosser, 21, Gainesville, struck another, driven by John Sherwood, 67, Murrayville, in the rear while it was stopped for traffic. The pickup, driven by Brenda Fleetwood, 69, Windsor, SC, which had also stopped for traffic, was then hit by Rosser's SUV.
Rosser was charged with following too closely.
Troopers say Rosser and Fleetwood both suffered minor injuries but Sherwood was not injured.
