A woman's body has been discovered in Lake Lanier, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).
HCSO spokesman Derreck Booth said the body was discovered around mid-morning in the Lake Lanier Islands area between Legacy Lane and Villa Lane.
Booth said the body is not that of an Atlanta woman who disappeared in the lake earlier in the summer.
