BLAIRSVILLE -- Union County junior quarterback Pierson Allison accounted for five first half touchdowns to lead the Panthers to a 49-7 rout of Fannin County Friday night at Mike Colwell Memorial Stadium.
Quarterback Pierson Allison led the charge for the Panthers (3-0) finishing 10-for-12 through the air for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also rushed 4 times for 39 yards and 2 TDs.
Union County running back Chad Buzzard added 9 carries for 68 yards and caught a touchdown pass. And Sawyer Drake caught 3 passes for 45 yards and a score.
Each standout was rested in the second half.
The Panthers begin Region 8-2A play next week against Monticello.
