DAWSONVILLE — The Dawson County offense has been more than impressive through the first half of the 2018 season, averaging almost 42 points per game.
A big reason for the Tigers success is a bruising and coordinated offensive line.
Every opponent knows that Dawson County is going to run the ball -- but no foe has been able to stop it yet.
Last week Lumpkin County did its best but still yielded 508 yards on the ground to the Tigers, as several backs found running lanes and success in a 36-3 win thanks in large part to the work of Bryson Broadway, Justin Butler, Matthew McCracken, Jason Browning, Ethan Smith, Seth Adams and Alex Haddock.
For their collective efforts, the Tigers' offensive line has been named the Conditioned Air Services Athlete of the Week.
AccessWDUN Sports and Friday Game Night editor Morgan Lee recently caught up with the members of the Tigers' front line to talk about just what has made them so successful in 2018, as a unit that is leading Dawson County to 401 rush yards per game.
