With the approach of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, area businesses and non-profits are teaming up to raise money to help combat the disease.
Left Nut Brewing Co. in Gainesville will join forces with the Gainesville ZTA Alumnae Chapter in the inaugural "Brewing for a Cause" event on Saturday, Oct. 20.
From 5 to 10 p.m., the brewery, known by locals as LNB, will serve up a special brew designed just for the event. The event also features live music and food from El Tacoman. All proceeds will benefit local breast cancer education and awareness efforts, specifically those supported by Zeta Tau Alpha Women's Fraternity.
