A fire that destroyed a double-wide mobile home in South Hall a week ago was caused by an electrical problem
A dog was killed in the fire and three people were displaced by it. It happened in the 4400 block of Benefield Road.
"This fire has been determined to be accidental and electrical in nature by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office," Hall County Fire Services spokesman Zachery Brackett wrote in an email Thursday afternoon, one week after the fire occurred.
"Arriving units found a double wide mobile home with heavy smoke showing from the front door," Brackett said at the time of the blaze. "The fire was located and rapidly extinguished. Three dogs were found inside the structure, two survived."
