Former presidential press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is scheduled to be the keynote speaker next year at the annual Todd Starnes Faith & Freedom Celebration at Truett McConnell University.
Sanders served as President Trump's press secretary from 2017 until this year, later joining Fox News as a political contributor. She is the daughter of former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, who headlined the 2019 Faith & Freedom Celebration.
Author and radio show host Todd Starnes will once again serve as master of ceremonies.
The event raises funds for student scholarships, aid for students to participate in mission trips and helping reduce missionary student debt to allow alumni to remain in the mission field.
The April 18 event will be held in TMU’s George Blaurock Student Wellness Center with the main program beginning at 7:00 pm. Individual bleacher seats for the program can be purchased for $25.
