A six-million dollar bridge project in northeast Georgia is included in $31 million worth of construction contracts recently awarded by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The construction of a bridge and approaches on Georgia 66 over Brasstown Creek in Towns County, is the largest single contract in the latest round of GDOT contract awards. The contract was awarded to Talley Construction Company, Inc.
Other northeast Georgia contracts that were approved are for resurfacing on State Route 327 in Franklin County and on State Route 11 in Jackson County.
You'll find details on both those projects as well as a list of all the contract awards here.
