Georgia Mountains representative will be available to help attendees search and apply for jobs, write resumes and cover letters, discern their career interests, and learn about funded training opportunities.

*U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., has appointed George Moore, a high school junior from Toccoa, to participate in the U.S. Senate Page Program. Moore is serving as a Senate page for this year's spring semester, which runs from Jan. 28 through June 7.
*Award-winning poet Marilyn Chin, the 2018 Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets, will visit the Gainesville and Dahlonega campuses of the University of North Georgia. Chin has won five Pushcart Prize, numerous fellowships and a prestigious Anisfield-Wolf Book Award for her work on confronting racism.
