After months of planning, restaurants in Hall County and several of its municipalities will begin Sunday sales of alcoholic beverages at 11:00 a.m. starting tomorrow.
Local governments have been fine-tuning their alcoholic beverage ordinances since voters approved the so-called "Brunch Bill" last November. Until now, restaurants licensed to sell such products have had to wait until 12:30 p.m. on Sundays to begin sales.
In addition to restaurants in unincorporated Hall County, eateries in Buford, Oakwood, and Gainesville will be able to benefit from the new law starting tomorrow.
In Braselton, a part of which lies in Hall County, sales began Nov. 11, according to Town Manager/Clerk Jennifer Scott.
