Teams from Gainesville High School and two schools in Lawrenceville are among those from Georgia hoping to earn a spot in this year's National Science Bowl.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, it will be held in Washington April 25-29.
But, first, the teams from Gainesville High, Archer High School and the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology must get past the regional round of competition, which will be held in Savannah March 2.
