A Columbus man was arrested Wednesday morning after he lost control of his pick-up truck and smashed into a house on Spring Road in Hall County.
The Georgia State Patrol investigated the incident.
Troopers said Jamie Hernandez-Compos, 28, was driving his 2004 Ford F150 southbound on Spring Road just before 8:30 a.m. He lost control of his vehicle in a curve, crossed the center line of the road and then veered off the roadway, hitting two mailboxes. As the truck continued out of control, it hit two chain link fences and a utility trailer and ultimately a front porch of a residence.
No one was injured, according to the law enforcement report.
The driver was arrested on charges of failure to maintain lane and driving while unlicensed.
