After months of waiting, Gainesville diners can now enjoy the new Golden Corral Buffet on Browns Bridge Road.
Construction began on the restaurant last fall, and the owners had hoped to have it open by the 2018 holiday season, but there were unforeseen delays. The restaurant opened to customers at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019.
The 10,000 square foot restaurant sits at the corner of Pearl Nix Parkway and Browns Bridge Road. The company hired 100 employees to staff the new restaurant, according to press information released to the media on Monday.
Golden Corral of Gainesville is owned by franchisee Eric Holm.
