A Winder man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Gwinnett County early Monday morning.
The Gwinnett County Police Department said the fatal accident happened around 3:45 a.m. on Langford Road near Corner Oak Drive in unincorporated Norcross.
Investigators said Shawn Strackbein, 47, was driving his GMC Safari westbound on Langford Road when he lost control of the vehicle in a curve. The vehicle hit a curb and started to roll, ejecting Strackbein in the process.
The preliminary investigation determined the victim was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
No other vehicles were involved.
The Gwinnett County Police Department Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the fatal accident.
