The Sons of the American Revolution, in conjunction with the Hall County Government, Hall County Sheriff's Office and Hall County Fire Services, will dedicate the Lyman Hall statue at the Hall County Government Center on Friday, April 12 at 1 p.m.
The statue, depicting Hall County's namesake, was commissioned by Jack Frost, and currently sits along the main sidewalk outside the Hall County Government Center.
The event will feature a ceremonial wreath presentation, bagpipes performance and musket volley on Lyman Hall's 295th birthday. Attendees can also expect a quick history lesson about Hall's life and legacy.
The event is free and open to the public.
