One lane of traffic on Davis Street in historic downtown Braselton will be closed on Wednesday, April 10 for installation of a decorative sidewalk.
City officials said the crosswalk will begin at the stairway between the parking deck and entrance driveway near Braselton Brewing Company and end along the lower patio area at the Braselton Brothers Department Store building.
Crews will begin their work at 8 a.m. and should be finished by 6 p.m. If the work is not finished on Wednesday, then crews will complete the job on Thursday, April 11.
The project was made possible through a donation made by the late Dr. Don Panoz.
