Although the Jefferson baseball team has already clinched a Class 3A playoff spot, the top-ranked Dragons still have one thing left to do this week.
The Dragons will face its toughest Region 8-3A opponent of the season in a massive three-game series against No. 2-ranked Morgan County for the region crown. The series winner will take the No. 1 seed.
Jefferson will travel to Morgan County Tuesday and host the Bulldogs for a doubleheader on Friday.
