The Johnson boys opened defense of their Class 5A state championship with a dominating 6-0 win over Arabia Mountain Wednesday at The Dungeon.
The Knights (15-2-1) outshot Arabia Mountain (7-9-1) 51-1 for the match.
It's the way Johnson coach Brian Shirley wanted to start the playoffs. The AccessSports Weekly crew caught up with Shirley at the Dungeon earlier this week to talk about the Knights' regular season and what he expects from this year's playoffs.
