Hall Democrats to host four top state party leaders

By AccessWDUN Staff

The Hall Democratic Party will host four top Georgia Democratic leaders at its annual Community Picnic Sunday kicking off at 3:30 p.m. in Gainesville’s Longwood Park.

The four are scheduled to speak throughout the picnic.

They include Jon Ossoff, who was a candidate in a special election for the U.S. House seat in the 6th District and is rumored to be considering a run for the U.S. Senate election in Georgia in 2020;  State Senator Nikema Williams, who is on a statewide listening tour following her election earlier this year to chair the Democratic Party of Georgia;  State Senate Minority Leader Steve Henson; and State House Minority Leader Bob Trammell.

The picnic is the headline event for the Hall Democrats' spring fundraiser.  Hot dog suppers featuring a plate of beans and other sides, including desserts, will be available for $10.  Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available.  Food will be available until the close of the picnic at 6:30 p.m. or until supplies are depleted.
