*The Gainesville Department of Water Resources will provide the 2019 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report on May 30.  The report contains results from testing during the 2018 calendar year of the city's water system.  Customers will receive a bill insert with their May billing statement notifying them of the availability of the report on the City’s website.  Customers can also request that they are mailed a paper copy.

*Two Powerball tickets, worth $50,000 each, were sold recently in Buford and Cumming.

*Wayne Farms Pendergrass facility has exceeded three million hours with no lost-time work injuries. The complex has remained injury-free since October 2017, a testimony to plant leadership, robust training programs and employee involvement, according to Pendergrass Complex Manager Ron Rogers.

*The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has awarded Hall County Government the GFOA's Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its Fiscal Year 2019 budget.
