Thunder Road, parts of which are in South Hall, will close for 30 days beginning May 28 as work continues on the widening of Georgia 13.
A state Department of Transportation news release says this will allow crews to realign the road at its intersection with the state highway.
The entire $17 million project is scheduled for completion a year from now.
