Hall County Parks & Leisure is looking for softball player interesting in playing in a new adult league that will cater to all players.
Team registration is now open, and the county hopes to have co-ed teams, men’s open and church leagues. Registration ends July 12.
"Softball is a popular sport in the area, and it serves as a great way to stay active, build community and, most importantly, have a little fun during the busy work week," Wayne Briscoe, athletics supervisor for Hall County Parks & Leisure. "Whether you're regularly bashing homeruns into Lake Lanier, or it's the first time you've ever picked up a bat, we have spots for anyone who wants to play."
Games will be played once per week at Laurel Park, located at 3100 Old Cleveland Highway in North Hall, beginning August 12. Briscoe said options will be available to play Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
For more information or to register a team, contact Briscoe via email or call 770-503-3148.
