The intersection of JM Turk Road and Martin Road is expected to close for approximately one week beginning Monday as crews continue their work on the construction of a roundabout.
"The closure will allow construction crews to make significant headway on the project after being delayed due to heavy rains earlier this year," Hall County Public Works Director Ken Rearden said. "This should ensure the new roundabout is complete by the time school begins in August."
The contractor on the project, E.R. Snell, will be posting signs in the area warning motorists of the upcoming closure. Signage will also be placed at Mulberry Creek Community Center. Signage will also indicate detour routes around the closure.
