A Buford woman recovers after being bitten by a wild animal at her Buford home.
Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement Director Alan Davis said they still haven't found the animal that attacked her while she sat on the front porch.
"She immediately went to the hospital and we had additional officers respond to search for the fox throughout the entire area there in Buford," Davis said. "But we were unable to locate the fox."
He said they passed out flyers about rabies to neighbors and no one else reported seeing the animal.
The woman received treatment for the possibility of rabies at the health department.
