Bids are being accepted by Hall County for right-of-way acquisition services for the long-talked-about Sardis Connector.
The county issued a "Request a Bid Package" notice August 14 which says bids will be opened Sept. 12.
"Hall County Board of Commissioners (Owner) is hereby soliciting submissions from firms that are interested in and capable of performing turnkey right of way acquisition services necessary for the construction of the Sardis Road Connector project," the document reads.
People attending the latest informational meeting on the project last November were told right-of-way acquisition would begin this year.
