I know living in the 9th District of Georgia is like living in New York City. Before you throw something at me, let me explain. The 9th is a strong GOP district. No Democrat stands a chance. Conversely, in the New York City area, they are strong Democrat districtsand no Republican stands a chance.
This divide was highlighted in a recent New York Times article.
As Speaker Pelosi made her statement on Tuesday regarding the impeachment inquiry against President Trump, I couldn’t help but think of this divide. Speaker Pelosi also represents one of those super safe districts and she’ll never have a strong opponent.
So where do we go from here? This is disaster for the Democrats, great for President Trump and his re-election and terrible for the country. As I said this morning on Morning Talk with Martha Zoller, my goals for my party is to improve the divide, win back the mantle of women’s empowerment from the Democrats and change the way my party is perceived. Republican values are the values that are best for this nation.
Republican values are about empowerment, freedom and rugged individuality. And I’ll debate anyone on it.
Over the next few weeks, we will be hearing a lot of noise about impeachment by a bunch of people who really don’t know what they are talking about. And I’m not talking about the pundits; I’m talking about the Congressmen and Senators. All you need to see is AOC passing judgment before an investigation has started. What happened on Tuesday shows Nancy Pelosi has lost control of her caucus. Can she get it back? I don’t think so.
