This is the final month of the City of Gainesville's seasonal curbside leaf pickup.
The service begins each year in October and runs through January of the following year. During this time leaves may be placed in piles along the back of the curb and are removed by vacuum machines.
But, beginning Feb. 1, any leaves and other yard waste that needs to be picked up must be bagged and will be collected on regularly scheduled garbage pick-up days.
