Two women were forced from their mobile home in East Hall County when the structure caught fire just before 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Hall County Fire Division Chief Zachary Brackett says the women were not hurt, but their residence in the 3700 block of Old Cornelia Highway was destroyed.
"The American Red Cross has been contacted to assist the occupants. No injuries occurred as a result of this incident," Brackett said in an email.
As crews were battling the fire, Old Cornelia Highway was closed to traffic for about an hour.
Brackett said there's no word yet on a cause for the fire.
