FLOWERY BRANCH — Ashlee Locke poured in 14 points, pulled 10 rebounds and hammered 10 blocks in a triple-double performance to lead Flowery Branch to a 41-23 rout of Oconee County on Saturday at home.

The Lady Falcons (14-8) led by seven at the half, 17-10 but extended that lead 28-15 by the end of the third quarter.

Morgan Aguilar added 12 pounds and 7 boards, and Shaina Kriews chipped in 8 points for the Lady Falcons.

CHESTATEE 65,
JOHNSON 21

Maggie McNair's game-high 19 points helped the Lady War Eagles (12-10a) to the Senior Night win over Johnson at home on Saturday.

Logan Wiggins scored 13 points, while Emma Easterwood netted 10. Both Brittany Randolph and Danielle Bull added 7 each.

Chestatee plays West Hall on Tuesday at home.

BUFORD 44,
JEFFERSON 36

Buford coach Gene Durden knew it was going to be a battle when his Class 5A No. 1 Lady Wolves (20-0) rolled into Jefferson on Saturday.

The Class 3A second-ranked Lady Dragons (17-4) gave the defending Class 5A state champs all they could handle on Saturday in a close non-region game.

Ashyia Willis led Buford with 9 points as Tatum Ozment had 8 points. Tate Walters and Blais Wallis added 7.

Jefferson held the Lady Wolves to just 13 second-half points, but the Dragons had offensive woes as well. Buford's defense smothered the Lady Dragons allowing them two points in the final quarter.

LUMPKIN COUNTY 53,
WHITE COUNTY 35

Isabel Davenport scored 19 points to lead the Lady Indians (13-8) in the upset win over White County (15-7) on Saturday at home.

Lexi Pierce and Kate Jackson added 12 points each.
