The Hall County government's Financial Services department has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
It marked 28 consecutive years that the department has received the certificate, which is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting according to county financial services director Dena Bosten.
“This award is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of the employees in Hall County Financial Services, who continue to go above and beyond for the citizens of Hall County,” Bosten said.
The county received the award for its reporting in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019.
