The Northwinds Symphonic Band presents "Band Blockbusters" on Saturday, Feb. 29 at First Baptist Church in Gainesville.
Guest conductor for the performance will be Col. Donald Schofield, the conductor of the U.S. Air Force Band in Washington, D.C.
Featured soloists for the show will be oboists Karen Harwood and Rachel Landers.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. performance will be available at the door of the church sanctuary. Adult tickets are $15 each, while senior adult tickets are $12 and student tickets are $5.
The Northwinds Symphonic Band was organized in 1984. Adult musicians, primarily music educators, from the north Georgia area perform in concert several times a year.
