Michele Shirley has been named Vice President for Administrative Services at North Georgia Technical College.
Shirley previously served as the college's Director of Administrative Services, a post she assumed in September 2017. Prior to that, she was the Director of Admissions and Registrar and has worked in multiple areas throughout her 14-year career with the college. Before working at North Georgia Technical College she worked in the field of banking and finance.
In her new role, Shirley oversees the business office functions as well as human resources, facilities, maintenance, bookstores, and food services.
“Dr. Shirley is a tremendous asset for our college and a strong advocate for students. She is most capable and very deserving of the position of Vice President for Administrative Services,” said NGTC President Dr. Mark Ivester. “I look forward to working with her in her new role.”
Shirley lives in Clarkesville with her husband John and daughters, Julianne and Ellison.
