Cocaine and firearms were just a few of the items found in Forsyth County’s most recent drug bust. A local resident, concerned about drug activity, originally called the tip in, leading to the arrest of three individuals in the southwest area of the county.
According to their Facebook page, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT team, along with the Johns Creek Alpharetta Forsyth Drug Task Force, conducted a search warrant after they received the tip. Not only were several types of illegal narcotics seized, but also a sizable sum of cash and three firearms, one that was confirmed to be stolen.
Gregory Rushing was arrested without bond for Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug-Related Items.
Dequavius Holmes, previously out on bond for Aggravated Assault and Battery, has been charged with Theft: Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of THC Oil with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug-Related Items.
Atiana Francis has been charged, without bond, for Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Cocaine.
The Sheriff's office used the slogan "Say Something, See Something" on their Facebook page, reminding the public that it's important to alert authorities to anything suspicious.
