After spending the last 10 months studying the Town of Braselton, contractors and town leaders have created a draft of the 2020 Comprehensive Plan to guide the growth of the town for the next two decades.
The plan, devised after eight meetings with community stakeholders, is divided into two main components, one with policy recommendations and the second with project recommendations. Residents will be able to review goals for land use and zoning, transportation, parks, housing, community services and other aspects of town development.
Once citizens read the plan, they are asked to take a survey to offer additional input. The public comment period ends on June 17, 2020.
After analyzing final comments and incorporating any necessary changes, writers will present the document to Braselton Town Council for final adoption. The vote is scheduled for July 13, 2020.
